Island Air recently announced plans to serve locally grown coffee on morning flights. MauiGrown Coffee Company will provide the beans. The service started April 1 and features coffee harvested from Ka'anapali Estate.
"It's great to feature locally produced coffee on our flights," said Island Air Chief Executive Officer Lesley Kaneshiro. Passengers have the opportunity to view the 500 acres of Arabica coffee trees when flying over West Maui. MauiGrown is the largest independently operated coffee grower in the U.S.
