The Kula chapter of the AARP will sponsor a free shredding event on Saturday, May 5. Their goal is to offer a solution for disposing of last year's bank statements, tax forms, old bills, and other sensitive documents in a quick and safe manner. An Access Management shredding truck will be stationed in the Home Depot parking lot in Kahului, from 8 to 11 a.m. Residents are welcome to bring up to two banker's boxes of documents to be shredded at no charge.
