SharingAloha will present a composting workshop on Saturday, June 9, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the MOA Center in Kahului.
Composting instructor Wilma Nakamura will explain how to convert yard waste and kitchen scraps into rich compost for plants. She will teach the basics of composting, setup options, compost application and troubleshooting.
Outdoor compost bins will be available for purchase at a reduced price.

Vermicomposting will be introduced and red wiggler worms will be in attendance.
Composting workshops are held every second Saturday of each month at MOA Center, 640 Kamehameha Ave. in Kahului.
