Do you have a pending concern with your commercial or residential building permit? Wondering why it isn't moving along as quickly as you would like? Are you getting frustrated with the process?
Mayor Alan Arakawa's Permit Process Improvement Team (PPIT) will hold a Permitting Open House on Friday, July 6, at the Kalana O Maui building in Wailuku from 1 to 4 p.m. The open house is intended to address Maui resident's permit concerns on the spot, or else provide an opportunity to set up a follow up appointment to meet with the appropriate county departments.
Those interested should go to the ninth floor of the Kalana O Maui building on July 6 between 1 and 4 p.m. Bring your building plans and other supporting documents with you.
Once you register at the front, you will be able to speak directly to representatives from the departments of Planning, Public Works, Environmental Management, Water and Fire regarding your permits. Directors and deputy directors for the departments will also be present.
