Maui-based Kupono Productions' new app, Real Estate on Maui, is free and is available for Android phones on Google Play (formerly the Android Market), and for the iPhone/iPad from the iTunes AppStore. Visitors and residents alike can now use this new app to easily find and guide them to any property actively listed in the Maui Multiple Listing Service (MLS).
Real Estate on Maui uses the phone's built-in GPS capability to provide voice navigation and turn-by-turn driving directions that will guide users directly to their property of choice. Users can also search for a particular property several ways, and the app displays HD photos and full descriptions of every property.
"We're very pleased with the positive feedback we've received," said app developer Marti Kluth. "This app is ideal for visitors, who really benefit from the GPS turn-by-turn navigation and the translation features."
According to recent statistics, 25 percent of Internet users in the U.S. are now mobile-only users, meaning they exclusively access online content through mobile or tablet devices like the Android smart-phone or the iPad.
"Apps are the future," said Kluth.
