Abraham, president and chief professional officer of Maui United Way, has announced the winners of the United Way Mahalo Awards for 2012, and has also announced that Maui United Way has exceeded it's 2010-11 fundraising campaign goal, raising a total of $1,047,676--just under $150,000 more than was raised last year

The awards were presented and the campaign announcement was made at the annual Maui United Way luncheon held recently at Kahili Golf Course.

In presenting the awards and announcing the fundraising success, Abraham said, "We extend our most sincere gratitude to the thousands of individuals and businesses who have contributed their time and money to Maui United Way. This past year, with your continued support Maui United Way touched the lives of over 63,000 people and provided hope for a better life."
