Art Opening at South Shore Tiki Lounge

The South Shore Tiki Lounge has announced the opening of an exhibit of art by 18-year-old Kihei resident Dylan Keenan on Sunday, Aug. 5, from 8 to 10 p.m.

The mixed-media show is a reflection on a recent Bali trip and Indonesian culture.

Mentored by Ed and Diane Lane, and Maui High School art teacher Robin Curammeng, Keenan will attend Southern Oregon University for her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree this fall.

"Join us as we send her off to school to pursue her artistic dreams," said Alma Tassi, co-owner of the lounge.

The art will be exhibited and for sale during August.

Kanoa will perform at 9 p.m.

The South Shore Tiki Lounge is located at 1913-J, South Kihei Road in Kihei Kalama Village.
