Mahalo from 9th Life Hawai‘i

August 16, 2012
Phyllis Tavares - Via email , The Maui Weekly

9th Life Hawai'i wants to thank all the volunteers who participated in our July clinic. If we forgot anyone, it is not intentional.

We have now sterilized 4,798 cats and hope to hit 5,500 by year's end. We could not do this without the dedication of our volunteers (in alphabetical order): Maelee Brough, Sophia and Gabi Dunn, Samantha Fairchild (tattooist), Yvette Feiteira (for our delicious lunch), Rahimo Gleason, Gaye Johnson, Ocean Langois, Donna Lee (for picking up the vet at the airport), Cheryl Lindley, Cynthia Lippert (who rented and drove a transport van), Georgia Norton, Eva Opel, Joan Pie and Sylvan Schwab of the Boo Boo Zoo (for lending us the nonprofit's van).

One-hundred-ten cats were sterilized by Dr. Celina Hatt. A big, big mahalo to all the volunteers.

9th Life is hosting the very first "No Kill Conference" in the State of Hawai'i on Aug. 25, so we will not hold a clinic in August. However, we do have clinics planned for September through December.

Call 572-3499 if we can help you.

Mahalo to the Maui community for taking advantage in our free/low-cost spay/neuter clinics.
