BNI chapter to hold Visitors Day

October 25, 2012
The Maui Weekly

BNI, an international networking organization specializing in business referrals among members, will hold a Visitors Day at its Kahului Chapter on Thursday, Nov. 8, at 11:30 a.m. at Fernando's Mexican Grill & Cantina in Queen Ka'ahumanu Center next to Sears.

BNI is a way for businesses to experience growth by maximizing their marketing efforts through word-of-mouth. The organization generated over 6.9 million referrals for member businesses in 2011 alone, which generated over $3.1 billion worth of business for its members.

BNI was founded in 1985 by Ivan R. Misner, Ph.D.

"Our style of networking is based on the philosophy of "Givers Gain"--if I help you, then you'll help me, and we'll all do better business," said Misner.

Anyone interested in attending the meeting is welcome. This is a free networking event, seating may be limited. Lunch is optional and ample parking is complimentary. Bring business cards and brochures to pass around.

Contact Chapter President Jeana Gamboa for reservations at (808) 419-1617 or via email at bnihanahou@gmail.com. For more information about BNI, visit www.bni.com or www.bnihawaii.com.
