The Shops at Wailea continues its signature "Wailea on Wednesdays" (WOW) arts and entertainment series this month, featuring free music from an array of traditional and contemporary Hawaiian artists under the stars each week from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Each Wednesday is further highlighted by art gallery receptions, artist appearances and one-night-only shop and restaurant specials.
On Saturday, Nov. 10, enjoy the third-annual "Life is Sweet" dessert showcase and fundraiser for Best Buddies Hawai'i from 2 to 5 p.m., which will pit culinary masters from a dozen Wailea restaurants and resorts against each other, vying for top honors and the title of "Wailea's signature dessert" for 2012.

During the Nov. 14 WOW from 6:30 to 8 p.m., the Hula Honeys share music from Hawai'i's territorial days, and songs that transport you back to the "Boat Days" and Waikiki's golden era.
On Nov. 21, WOW will showcase Bobby Moderow Jr. of the award-winning band, Maunalua, playing contemporary Hawaiian and slack key from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
