The Kiwanis Club of the Valley Isle has announced the recent charter of its first-ever Key Club within the Boys & Girls Club in Hawai'i. On Oct. 29, the Kiwanis installed its Key Club and Kiwanis officers and directors at the Boys & Girls Club of Wailuku.
Kiwanis Division 22 Past Distinguished Lt. Gov. Keith Regan installed the new Key Club officers--Briley Akina, president; Mason Aquino, vice-president; Janelle Mackiewicz, secretary; and Leiana Boyce-Galase, treasurer.
Regan also installed the incoming Kiwanis Club of the Valley Isle officers--Allen Shishido, president; Eric Shimada, vice-president/president-elect; Shari Yamamoto, secretary; and Anthony Arakaki, treasurer.

Anne Diola, the outgoing president, will serve on the Kiwanis Club of the Valley Isle 2012-13 board, along with Janice Shishido, Vanessa Kina, Kristin Yamasaki and Emily Bartow.
Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time.
The Valley Isle Kiwanis Club sponsors various projects throughout the year, including its annual Project Backpack and Valley Isle Keiki Fest.
