New bus stops going up around isle

November 29, 2012
The Maui Weekly

A small solar panel was installed on the roof of a new aluminum Maui County bus stop on South Kihei Road near the intersection with Ohukai Road recently. The blue-roofed stop is just one of several design themes used for stops around the island. One of the next bus stops to be installed in Makawao will feature a yellow wagon wheel as part of the roof and side.
