Maui OnStage, in partnership with Whole Foods Market Maui, is proud to present the "Maui Fringe Theater Festival 2013" on Friday, Feb. 1, through Sunday, Feb. 3, at the Historic 'Iao Theater in Wailuku. The Maui Fringe Theater Festival presents a variety of performance pieces from geography to genre and ranging from high drama to wacky comedy to burlesque. The 2013 festival will feature original one-act performances from New York, Los Angeles and Maui. This year's lineup includes "John Brown's Body" by Will Hausman, "They Call Me Q" by Quarrat Ann Kadwani, "Joy and Jack" by Rick Scheideman, "Turner & Hooch 2: Murder at the Wackenheim Manor" by Julia Wackenheim, glow-in-the-dark burlesque by the Ultraviolets, Adaptations Dance Theater, excerpts from "Shout!: the Mod Musical" and much more. Tickets for individual performances are available at the door for $10. Thirty all-show festival passes will be available (while supplies last) for $50.
