Thank you for putting most of my own impressions of the state Land Use Commission (LUC) hearings into creative language in your editorial, "American Idol for Lawyers," in the Dec. 27-Jan. 2 issue of the Maui Weekly.
I attended all of these same meeting, although not in their entirety due to job constraints, and you hit it right, even down to the shivering cold at the Marriott meetings.
