Fire Services Chief Lee Mainaga said emergency response personnel were dispatched to the Skyline Eco Adventures at the Kahoma Ranch above Lahaina for a male who fell off of the zipline.
Three motorcyclists trespassed onto the Kahoma Ranch site. One, a 25-year-old male, got stuck midway on one of the skylines when he tried to use a rope to slide down one of the lines. He held on for as long as he could, then eventually fell approximately 45 feet.
Rescue crews packaged him, taking c-spine precautions, and hiked him out of the valley. The man was then transported by ambulance to Maui Memorial Medical Center in stable condition.
