The Maui Knights of Columbus Council 8578 is organizing a Maui March for Life as a peaceful protest to the U.S. Supreme Court Ruling in Roe vs. Wade that made abortions legal in America 40 years ago. According to the organization of Priests for Life, 55,845,844 human beings in America have not seen the light of day as of the date of this press release.
The Maui March for Life is slated to happen on Saturday, Jan. 26, at the open space area at the old location of MEO on Ka'ahumanu Avenue across from the Maui Beach Hotel at 10 a.m.
After one-half-hour of sign waving, the march will proceed along Ka'ahumanu Avenue to Pu'unene Avenue to Christ The King Church, where a Rosary will be said in front of the Memorial for the Unborn. The entire event will take about two hours.
The National Headquarters of the Knights of Columbus have pre-printed signs, but marchers are encouraged to bring their own.
