Illegal 'ohana rentals are everywhere on the island, and Kihei is the worst! Most people don't seem to know what the laws are, or they're turning a blind eye to something that needs to be stopped now!
Now, instead of living next to four houses with the typical family of the past, you can end up living next to 16 to 20 people.
These 'ohana are also making a mess out of the rental market, because when you allow illegal 'ohana at high rates, what do you expect to happen to the rates of home rentals?
All this needs to change and stop now!
