Maui's youth will be in the spotlight at Pa'ia Flatbread Company's monthly fun, family, benefit night between 5 and 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 12. The popular Pa'ia restaurant will donate a portion of the evening's pizza sales to scholarships for EdVenture's College for Kids program at University Hawai'i Maui College (UHMC).
College for Kids holds multi-day sessions throughout the school year, as well as the "Saturday Fun Series." These classes are designed to prepare kids for the college experience and provide an opportunity to explore a variety of career paths. Some popular class topics include animation, Web design, photojournalism, video game production, acting and "starting a kid business."
There will also be a silent auction featuring an array of must-have items from The Grand Wailea, Pacific Whale Foundation and more.
