ProArts presents Ken Ludwig's "Lend Me a Tenor", the award-winning comic masterpiece, as their first show of the season at the ProArts Playhouse in Kihei. In 1934, the renowned opera tenor Tito Merelli is scheduled to sing the lead in "Otello" at a fundraiser for the Cleveland Opera. Before the star leaves his hotel room, things begin to unravel. What follows is a chain-reaction of mistaken identity, farcical plot twists, double entendres, innuendoes, and door-slamming fun. The show runs through March 10.
