On St. Patrick's Day weekend, Maui's finest Irish men and women will once again join forces in a "Sharing the Green" charity Golf & Extreme Bocce tournament on March 16 on the grounds of the Wailea Old Blue Golf Course in support of Hospice Maui and Backpack Buddies, a keiki nutrition program.
The golf tournament is a four-person scramble with a shotgun start at 12:15 p.m.
Register for golf or bocce ball on March 16 at Mulligan's on the Blue. Registration forms are at the restaurant, golf course and online at HospiceMaui.org.

The registration fee is $130 per player and includes the golf course green fee, buffet dinner at Mulligan's, team prizes and a charity auction to benefit Hospice Maui.
The Bocce Ball Tournament hopes to register 32 teams of four players and begins at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 16. The registration fee is $115 per player and includes breakfast, lunch, and team prizes.

Backpack Buddies provides nutritional meals and snacks to youths whose primary source of food is the school cafeteria. They do this by providing a backpack of nutritious food items to help sustain the children until they return to school the next day.
