Imua Family Services announced that Bobbie-Jo Moniz-Tadeo is its new program director for Infant Child Development Program.
Since 2002, Moniz-Tadeo has been employed as the Maui District Part B Section 619 coordinator/IDEA Resource Teacher for the State of Hawai'i Department of Education. A Maui High School graduate, Moniz-Tadeo went on to complete an Intensive Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes Program in San Luis Obispo, CA; an A.A. Degree in Liberal Arts and B.A. Degree in Human Relations in Organizations at The University of Hawaii-Maui College; and a Master's Degree in Special Education at UH-Manoa. In addition, she studied Auditory Perceptual/Conceptual Development and Symbol Imagery of Phonemic Awareness at the University of California, Santa Barbara, CA; and Literacy/Language Arts at the University of Nevada, Reno, NV. She currently holds her Doctorate Degree in Instructional Leadership/Curriculum and Instruction from Argosy University in Honolulu. Moniz-Tadeo is licensed in Special Education (K-12).
