Chefs Feed, the first iPhone app of its kind to provide dish and restaurant recommendations from renowned chefs, launched in Hawai'i last week.
With the addition of five new markets come hundreds of new chef recommendations--from high-end to hole-in-the-wall restaurants. The high-caliber roster of Chefs Feed's contributing chefs is made up of more than 600 of the nation's top chefs, including Hawai'i's Chef Bev Gannon of Hali'imaile General Store, Joe's, Celebrations Catering and Gannon's; Chef Roy Yamaguchi of Roy's; Chef Sheldon Simeon of Star Noodle and Leoda's Kitchen & Pie Shop; and Chef Alan Wong of The Pineapple Room, Alan Wong's and Amasia.
Chefs Feed was recently named "Best of 2012" by Apple editors, who selected 70 of the best apps from 2012. There are about 900,000 apps in the iTunes store.
