Celebrating its fifth year, the Maui Brewers Festival returns to Maui Arts & Cultural Center (MACC) on Saturday, May 18, from 2:30 to 7 p.m. Presented by the MACC, Maui Brewing Co. and Paradise Beverages, the much-anticipated festival takes place under the swaying coconut palms in the center's Yokouchi Pavilion and A&B Amphitheater.
The festival is a fundraiser for the center, with net proceeds benefiting its arts education and cultural programs for students, seniors and the Maui County community.
This year, the festival will feature 32 craft breweries from Hawai'i, California, Oregon, Colorado, Michigan, Illinois and Delaware.

The breweries that participate in the Maui festival are selected because of their commitment to making craft beer in which quality, flavor and locally sourced ingredients come first.
Brew Maui Homebrew Club also participates in the festival to educate guests about the brewing process. Brew Maui will host the fourth annual homebrew contest as part of Maui Brewers Festival. The participating breweries will show guests why craft beer is the fastest growing beverage-alcohol segment in U.S. supermarkets.
Festival-goers will enjoy a leisurely day of sampling from a vast selection of 68 craft beers paired with island-style dishes from local purveyors.
On stage, the entertainment lineup includes Maui's hottest bands: Nuff Sedd, Lia Live! and Simply Twisted. There will also be logo merchandise for sale by Crazy Shirts for the Maui Brewers Festival and individual breweries, as well as prize giveaways throughout the day.
The advance purchase price for general admission (4 to 7 p.m.) is $50 per adult, which includes eight four-ounce pours of beer, a commemorative beer glass, 'ono pupu and desserts, and event parking. The $95 VIP/Rare Beer tasting package features reserved parking, early entry at 2:30 p.m. to taste rare beers in the pavilion and a logo shirt, in addition to general admission for the entire event. A general admission ticket purchased on the day of event will be $60. A "designated driver" ticket can be purchased on request. The festival is open to adults aged 21 years and over only.
Maui Brewers Festival sponsors include Maui Brewing Co., Paradise Beverages, Crazy Shirts, Maui Time and H. Hawai'i Media radio stations.
