he Art of Trash Maui 2013, presented by Community Work Day Program and SharingAloha, will receive work from artists on Saturday, April 13, at Maui Mall.
If you are an artist who creates artwork from recycled materials, be sure to enter this juried show. Entrants are asked to bring all art pieces to the store space next to Thailand Cuisine from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The entry fee is $10 per piece.
Note that driftwood pieces, water feature pieces and works that include food will not be accepted.
Bob Flint’s “Sublime Pie” was the juror’s choice award-winner at last year’s Art of Trash. A definite “wow,” this papier mache sculpture is pop art at its best.
Entry forms are available at all public libraries. Online forms are available at sharingalohamaui.org or via email at email@example.com.
For more information regarding, call Wilma Nakamura at 573-3911.
