The Bailey House Museum gardens in Wailuku will be a rainbow of color on Saturday, April 13, for the fourth annual Celebration of Quilts Quilt Show and Exhibit. Local quilters from across Maui will hang their quilts throughout the gardens and demonstrate quilting methods to visitors at this popular one-day event. Antique quilts from the Maui Historical Society and private collections, as well as a red work collection will be exhibited in the Bailey House Museum.
Live entertainment will be provided by the Hawaiian Serenaders and Nevah Too Late.
Admission to the quilt show will include admission to the museum: $10 for general admission and $8 for Maui Historical Society members. Children 12 and under are free.
Local quilters from across Maui will hang their quilts throughout the gardens of the Bailey House Museum in Wailuku.
The Maui Historical Society and friends will also host their monthly fundraiser concert series, "Hawaiian Moonlight," on Saturday, April 20, from 6 to 9 p.m. on the grounds of Bailey House Museum.
Entertainment features George Kahumuku Jr. and friends, who volunteer their talent and organize stage performances of Hawaiian music as their way of "giving back" to the Bailey House Museum.
Bring your blanket or a low back beach chair and a cooler with snacks. Water and soda will be available for purchase.
Tickets are $25 for general admission and $20 for Maui Historical Society members, which includes admission to the Bailey House Museum before and during the concert. Children under 12 are admitted free with a paid adult.
