The Maui Mountain Bike Relay on Saturday, May 25, will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Maui. This family-friendly event will be located below Makawao Town next to the Makawao Veterans Cemetery.
Spend the day in the beautiful surroundings of Upcountry Maui with bikes, trails, entertainment and food, while supporting one of Maui's most important nonprofit organizations, Big Brother Big Sisters.
The Maui Mountain Bike Relay challenges individuals and teams of two to complete as many laps as possible in a designated period. The lap distance and designated time period will differ depending on race class. Any type of off-road bicycle can be ridden. A helmet must be worn while on your bike at all times.
Keiki will enjoy their own fun, safe event at the Maui Mountain Bike Relay on Saturday, May 25.
This event will accommodate participants of all skill levels.
Participants can pre-register for the relay at mauiracereg.com. Pre-registration is $25 per person for teams and $30 per person for individuals. Race day registration will be an additional $5 per person. The Keiki Race will be free.
A cover charge of $2 per person will permit access to the venue on the day of the event regardless of pre-registration. This cover charge will be waived if you donate a bag of reusable clothes to support Maui Mountain Bikes' mentoring programs.
The Maui Mountain Bike Relay is an excellent opportunity to experience mountain biking on Maui and support an important cause. All proceeds from the Maui Mountain Bike Relay will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Maui. The money raised will directly support one-on-one mentoring for Maui's at risk children.
