Printer cartridge company gives back to community

California-based Platinum International Products and Services LLC, owned by the husband and wife team John Snyder and Niki Shadrow Snyder, part-time Wailea residents, sells high-quality, American-made, sustainable, compatible printer cartridges that undercut the high cost of other supplies made overseas.

The company recycles the Pop Drop Platinum Series Toner at no charge for clients every month. The company's factory partners, Mico Solutions Enterprises (MSE), have helped recycle over two million cartridges from going into our landfills per year.

Each month, a portion of the proceeds of each toner order goes to Platinum International Products and Services LLC's sister philanthropy organization, Project Pop Drop.

Platinum International Products and Services LLC and Project Pop Drop have helped contribute to feeding 90,000 meals per month on Skid Row, since 2011.

"Every month, we feature a different mission or community shelter to deliver food, medical supplies, clothing, etc.," said Niki. "We are proud that we have also inspired other companies to participate in Project Pop Drop. And we can donate more with more toner orders each month--that is the goal."

Niki added that each time a Platinum International Products and Services LLC client prints with Pop Drop Platinum Series Toner, "they save money and make a difference in the environment as well as the community."
