The Rotary Club of Kihei Sunrise will sponsor a Sunset/Full Moon Dinner Cruise on Saturday evening, Oct. 19, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. This cruise combines the fun of a barbecue, the beauty of a Maui sunset, the romance of a full moon over Ma'alaea Bay and the soft sounds of DJ "Dr. Love."
A barbecue dinner will be prepared on board consisting of marinated chicken breasts, pulled pork, hot dogs, veggie burgers, chips and fresh-baked cookies. Beer, wine and soft drinks are included.
The cost is $65 per person with a limit of 120 persons.
Kīhei Sunrise Rotary members Patty Hemmen and Ed Corbett are ready to check in passengers for the Sunset/Full Moon fundraiser on Saturday, Oct. 19.
This special cruise will be aboard The Four Winds II located at Slip 80 in Ma'alaea Harbor. Check-in time is 5 p.m. at the Ma'alaea boat ramp.

Proceeds from the Sunset/Full Moon Cruise will benefit local community service projects supported by the Rotary Club of Kihei Sunrise. Projects include providing a Keiki Dental Program, an Ethics Program and dictionaries for every third-grade student at Kihei and Kamali'i Schools, providing books for school libraries and for children attending the upcoming 6th Annual Maui Children and Youth Day event on Saturday, Oct. 12.
This fundraising event is one of the many community service activities and projects sponsored by the Rotary Club of Kihei Sunrise. Rotary International has over 1.2 million members worldwide meeting at 32,000 clubs in 207 countries.
The Rotary Club of Kihei Sunrise, which is one of nine clubs on Maui, meets on Wednesday mornings at 7:30 a.m. at the Five Palms Restaurant at the Mana Kai Maui Resort.
