The Kihei Community Association (KCA) will welcome member of the Maui Police Department as guest speakers at its Tuesday, Feb. 18, meeting. The officers will advise and inform KCA members and the Community about what is happening with the department--particularly the Kihei District now headquartered in the new facility mauka of the Pi'ilani Highway.
Police Chief Gary Yabuta, Assistant Chief Victor Ramos and Kihei District Commander Tivoli Faaumu will offer a PowerPoint present and respond to community questions. They are expected to be accompanied by their staff.
Doors will open at 6 p.m.; the meeting will start promptly at 6:30 p.m. at the Kihei Charter Middle School at 41 East Lipoa St. behind Kihei Car Wash in the back of the plaza (at the site of the former Hapa's Nightclub).
