The Rotary Club of Kihei-Wailea will hold March Melodies, the clubs main fundraiser for 2014, at Mulligan's On the Blue in Wailea on Saturday, March 29, from 5 to 9 p.m.
The event will feature heavy pupu, the sweet slack key melodies of Grammy Award Winner George Kahumoku Jr., dancing and live and silent auctions.
As you enjoy the music, food and dancing, you will also help the Rotary Club of Kihei-Wailea continue its youth, community and international projects, including: purchasing dictionaries, books and equipment for elementary, middle and high school students in Kihei; providing college scholarships to outstanding Maui seniors; buying equipment for the Kihei Youth Center, supporting the Seabury Hall Interact Club; maintaining the grounds at the Kihei Boat Ramp; and providing grants in India, Afghanistan, South Africa and Kenya for drinking water, sanitation and human rights support.
