Gylian Solay will present "Space Lift: Basic Organizing Tools & Tips" on Friday, April 18, from 6 to 8 p.m.
"We all need help in one area or another in our lives," said Solay. "Priorities are work, kids, family and the rest has to wait. For example, maybe your car and office are meticulously organized, but your home has cluttered closets. Maybe you are a writer, organizing your thoughts into brilliant stories, but your kitchen is a danger zone. Maybe it's time to downsize, move, remodel or address a storage unit after years of costly rental fees. Some of you may be compulsive clutterers, or even extreme hoarders."
Whatever clutter or resistance you need to tackle, but have avoided, this seminar offers possibilities of creating a sense of place and space consistent with your visions and desires, your lifestyle, who you are and your priorities. You will also hear from people with "Mission Possible" success stories, and are now enjoying living life in their newly organized space.
These before and after photos illustrate how creating a sense of place and space can enhance your lifestyle and your priorities.
Facilitator Solay brings 40 years of organizing experience--everything from community events to homes to personal lives. With a degree in mental health counseling and as a certified yoga instructor, she offers ways to stay on top of things and handle stress during this shift to clear your physical and mental space, and lift your spirits.
"Bring your friends, family and challenges!" said Solay.
The seminar will be held at the Maui Academy of the Healing Arts at 310 Ohukai Road, Ste. 318, in North Kihei.
Advance registration is $25 and $30 at the door (cash only).
