The Maui Arts & Cultural Center presents another concert in its popular "Moonlight Series." Henry Kapono Ka'aihue and his band promise an entertaining evening of your favorite Hawaiian and pop/rock songs on Saturday, April 12.
One of Hawai'i's favorite musicians and his band will have you "Dancin' in the Moonlight" under the glowing, glass pyramid of Yokouchi Pavilion.
Kapono is known for fusing Hawaiian-style music with his own brand of rockin' sockin' sound. The sets will include classic Cecilio & Kapono (C&K) songs and Kapono solo songs, as well as hits from his CDs ("Henry," "The Wild Hawaiian). The audience will enjoy the old favorites you know from his days as a duo, his own compositions, and his covers of rock classics. The performance will include "Friends," "Sailing," "Lifetime Party," "Here With You," "Good Times Together," "Home In The Islands," and, of course, "Dancin' In The Moonlight."
