Kumu Kimokeo Kapahulehua performed a blessing at the new FABMAC office/model home in Kahului last week. Attending the ceremony were Francesca Carey, Francine Fernandez, Charlie Morgan and Thomas Douma of FABMAC Homes and others.
Using ti leaves, kahili feathers and koa paddle, Kapahulehua chanted to bring good fortune and blessings to all who enter, meet or work here.
"We all felt the power of the Hawaiian spirit in this traditional ceremony," said Francesca Carey, FABMAC CEO. "Kimokeo has blessed four houses for FABMAC, and he continues to be an inspiration to all who know and work with him on his many projects. We feel privileged to be a part of his 'ohana."
