A free event to help launch the “Blue Ribbon Community Building System” on Maui will be held on Friday, Nov. 21, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Baldwin High School’s Multi-Purpose Room.
Helice “Sparky” Bridges, who founded the nonprofit educational organization Difference Makers International, will be the guest speaker. Winner of the Gandhi Non-Violence Award, Difference Makers International programs have impacted over 30 million people worldwide.
The organization’s vision is “Giving Kids a Voice for Change,” and its mission is to provide tools and training for kids to become the tipping point for social revolution in communities throughout the world.
Event organizers invite you to empower the youth and the community of Maui, promote positive and supportive interactions and learn to help your children reach their dreams.
