It would be great to simply know how many consumers are currently waiting for the $3,000 IRS study right now.

GREAT POST.

* Please do a follow up story that dives down more into what the $3000 IRS fee is for? IT IS EXTORSION! What does the "company in New York" actually do for this fee? Why does it take so long to do it? why is there only 1 company doing it. This is a huge bottleneck affecting consumers and solar companies that are employing a lot of people on Maui. This fee should be banned now.

* It would be great if you could do a follow up and dive deeper into the storage solutions that are available NOW and that are coming down the line. For example, TESLA and SOLAR CITY have a great product and many other similar home storage "appliances" are in the pipeline. ***********solarcity****/residential/energy-storag

* Perhaps you should dive deeper into WHY MAUIANS don't own MECO? This utility should be converted into a utility co-op. The dividends should be given BACK to the consumers. Maui is small enough to make that happen.

Good start but please push harder
