Maui small businesses and entrepreneurs will get together for fun, friendship and food on Nov. 9, at the Maui Dragon Fruit Farm in Lahaina, from 5 to 9 p.m. There will be live entertainment; deejays spinning music of the '60s, '70s, '80s and '90s; games; a singing contest; a dancing contest; food; networking; door prizes; and later, dancing barefoot on the lawn beneath the moon.
The Maui Appreciation Party is organized by Maui Business Brainstormers (MBB) with the support of other local business groups. Everyone in the Maui small business community is invited.
"We invite the members of the three Chambers of Commerce, other business associations and all unaffiliated businesses," said volunteer MBB Organizer Grace Fung. "It is an opportunity to make new friends, new contacts and share the one joy we have in common--appreciation for being on beautiful Maui."
